Welcome To Grace Chapel
Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-Wracking, but having an idea of what to expect can help
So, what can you expect on a Sunday?
1. Inviting and Welcoming Friends
You’ll arrive to find a friendly face and a warm handshake. You can count on a genuine experience and a personal interest in you. Come as you are! There is no dress code nor any requirements or expectations. If a suit and tie is your thing…great. If jeans and a t-shirt are your style…then come feel right at home. The most important preparation you can do is on your heart. Jesus desires a willing and thankful heart.
2. Contemporary Worship and the freedom to be yourself
At Grace, Praise and Worship through music is a very important part of our church worship experience. Our musical styling varies from the modern, to the contemporary, to the traditional with a modern twist.
There’s opportunity for you to express yourself by actively engaging through standing, clapping, the lifting of hands to sitting, contemplating and staying reflective. There is no one “right” way to express your thankfulness. Musical praise is such a critical and vulnerable way for us to connect with God, express our love in ways mere words can’t express and also get earthly practice for what promises to be a large part of our eternal existence- singing, clapping, shouting, playing instruments and making a joyful noise unto the Lord.
We invite you and encourage you to be free to be you! It’s the heart of worship Jesus longs for.
3. God’s Word spoken and taught to the fullest
The word of God is undeniable, always true, always accurate and forever relevant. It’s with that spirit we teach, preach and admonish.
At Grace, you will hear the truth of the Gospel in love. But the most accurate way to love, is to tell the truth. We humbly yet boldly declare God’s principles, expectations and hopes for our lives. We seek to declare and learn with the desire to leave a worship service different than how we came in.
4. An opportunity to respond and receive
Every service at Grace allows an opportunity for you to respond. We want to do what the Bible teaches in the book of James 1:22, “be doers of the word not just hearers only, unless you fool yourselves.”
Prayer and practical application are critical to any message we hear and receive. There are always people available and ready to pray with you and stand with you as you seek deeper understanding of Jesus and the message you just heard.
5. An equal opportunity to serve and be fulfilled
The book of James also teaches us that our faith (or belief), without service (or works) is useless (dead)! We offer many areas of service and ministry for you to get involved in at Grace. Our desire is to live Jesus in the real world! To bring Him to those who otherwise won’t seek Him elsewhere.
Whether it’s locally, nationally or world-wide! The Great Commission of Jesus calls for us to serve Him everywhere, continually, until He comes again.
Maybe you have something unique to offer and a special way to serve Jesus. We would love to come along side you and see your life fulfilled in Christ as you work to bring others to Christ.
