“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” — Hebrews 10:24-25

Tara came to know the Lord at a young age, in her church’s Sunday School program. Knowing first hand the impact Sunday School has had on her life, she is passionate about working to “Train up a child in the way he should go," knowing the promise of God is sure that "...even when he is old he will not depart from it.”  Proverbs 22:6

Tara has always had a passion for working with and educating children. Upon graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Montclair State University she was hired as a third grade teacher in Short Hills, NJ where she has worked for seven years. While teaching in Short Hills she lead teacher trainings and helped develop district wide curriculum.

Before becoming a public school teacher she worked at New Kids Daycare Center in Belleville, NJ and later at the Montclair State University Children’s Center. Since age 13 she has been a volunteer in various children’s ministries, including a mission trip to an orphanage in Uganda, Africa.

Tara is happily married to John and has been blessed with three children Caleb, Olivia and Leo. She is currently taking time off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mother.
