“They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… many wonders and miraculous signs were done… All the believers were together and had everything in common.  they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.  Praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.  And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:42-47

When Jesus Enters In

Entering into the Promised Land

Life can be messy!
So, it’s critical to be intentional about remembering God’s Word and His promises.  If we’re not, it can be challenging to accept the things God may ask or require of us in this life, no matter how new or deep we are in our journey of faith.
We’ll explore the book of Joshua, and learn like Israel did, that with intentional perseverance and obedience, God fulfills His Word and promises through us,
and we too can be among those...

Philemon: Live Free and Set Free

Slavery is an ugly thing.  Yet tragically so much of ancient culture lived it as normality.  There were many forms of slavery; forced, inherited, convenient and even voluntary.
The same can be said of our hearts/minds/souls.  Whether it seems normal, forced, inherited, convenient or voluntary, there are things, people, behaviors, attitudes and habits that enslave us and keep us from living free.  Jesus came to make us free...and to stay free indeed!
We, His people, have the power of life and death, freedom and bondage on our tongues and at our finger tips.
We’ll explore the book of Philemon and Paul’s call for us to “do the right thing”; To live free & set others free!

The Way of Hosea, The Way of The Lord

God did things very differently in the Old Testament.  While His methods and path have changed for today, HE has not changed one bit!
He pursues us with endless priority!
His passion, love and mercy for us remains the same!
We’ll explore the book of Hosea in dramatic fashion;
certain to capture our hearts for him and one another.
